B.A.S.E.C. Capsule Collection
B.A.S.E.C. (Bahamas Aerospace and Sea Exploration Center) is an NYC + Bahamas-based streetwear label spearheaded by conceptual artist Tavares Strachan. With the slogan, “and nothing is made in the Bahamas,” B.A.S.E.C. challenges the notion that high-fashion cannot originate from the Bahamas. The pieces below are a part of the capsule collection, launched in early 2020.

B.A.S.E.C. x World Frontier’s Forum
Hoodie designs for World Frontiers Forum 2019 in Berlin, Germany. 10 original designs were created for each of the 80 honored guests at this prestigious conference. Each hoodie pays homage to an under-represented and under-acknowledged agent of powerful change in history. Examples include: Shirley Chisholm, Robert Smalls, and Claudette Colvin.
